Privacy Policy
Effective September 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information SeeSpect collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our website and SEO audit service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. We collect details such as your name, email address, account credentials, messages you send us, and your plan or billing status.
Audit information. When you run an audit, we process the URL you submit, pages discovered on that site, page content needed for the requested checks, and the resulting report. Do not submit private or restricted URLs that you are not authorized to test.
Technical information. We may collect your IP address, browser and device information, access times, referring pages, and service logs. We use cookies and similar browser storage for login sessions, security, preferences, and service operation.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to provide and improve audits, maintain accounts and subscriptions, secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, communicate about your account, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.
3. Payments and Service Providers
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. SeeSpect does not store complete payment-card numbers. Stripe and other providers that support hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, and customer support may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Optional analytics. Google Analytics stays off until you choose “Accept analytics.” If you reject it or have not chosen, we do not load its measurement tag or send it visit and product-use events. If you accept, it may receive limited page and action information, browser identifiers, IP address, and user agent to help us understand service usage. You can reject or withdraw your choice at any time using “Analytics choices.” Necessary login, security, billing, and service records continue independently of this choice. We do not use this choice for advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers acting on our behalf, when you direct us to do so, to protect the rights and safety of users or the service, during a business transaction, or when required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to records we must keep.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you are responsible for using a strong password and protecting access to your account.
7. Your Choices
You may update certain account details from your account, cancel a paid plan from the subscription page, and change or withdraw optional analytics consent using “Analytics choices” on this site. A necessary first-party cookie remembers that choice. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, where applicable.
8. Children's Privacy
SeeSpect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date above.
